Greenstyle Girl’s Upton Shorts/Capri

I absolutely love Greenstyle Girl’s Upton shorts/Capri. I tested this pattern with custom knit, Joann’s knit and Joann’s cotton woven. when using Cotton you do not need to size up, it has a very generous leg width to it. My littlest modeled the XXS size she normal wears 9m and has a 18 inch waist. I did have to shorten the length on the shorts to fit her short chubby thighs better, and the capri length was more of a pants length for her. My nieces modeled the XS size they normally fit 3t/4t sizes they are 19 1/2 waist. The shorts fit perfectly but the capri’s were a tad long even with a inch taken off and a inch folded to make the hem of the capri’s. With this pattern if you lengthen the shorts you can use them for boys which my boys have a couple now. My hippo fabric is from Fabric Stache it was their mystery round
